We are an independent and non-political cultural centre of
Republic of Austria in Lahore.

MOZART HAUS - Austrian Cultural Centre is dedicated to enhancing the visibility of Austria in Pakistan and promoting cultural exchange between the two countries through language programs, cultural events, books and magazines, and get-togethers in the premium coffee house “Café Mozart”.

It is also a tribute to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), who was born and worked in Austria. Being one of the most prolific and influential music composer of the classical era, he composed over 800 works, many of which are acknowledged as masterpieces in their respective genres.

His most famous compositions include Symphonies 40 and 38, Magic Flute, Rondo alla Turca, and the operas “The Marriage of Figaro” and “Don Giovanni”.

The umbrella organization of “Mozart Haus” – Austrian Cultural Centre is the Pakistan Austria Friendship Society “Mozart Haus”, which was established in February 2024 at the Austrian embassy in Islamabad. Subsequently it was duly approved by the governments of Pakistan and Austria and duly registered with SECP Pakistan as a non-profit organization

The Mozart Haus aims to enhance the visibility of Austria and Mozart in Pakistan and promote friendly cultural exchange between the two countries through language programs, cultural events, books and magazines, and get-togethers in the exclusive coffee house “Café Mozart”.

Membership of Mozart Haus is open to Pakistanis and Austrians interested in Austria and its great musical icon Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Mozart Membership

Enthusiasts of cultural activities are welcome to become a member of the Austrian Cultural Centre“Mozart Haus”. Members are entittled to attend most events free of cost and enjoy discounts in language courses and other activities.
